As I had a week off during the kids' half-term break and had nothing else to do, I decided to have a haircut... My hair got really dry since I got here. It is probably caused by the calcareous water. I needed a haircut really badly!
I just went to the famous 'downtown' and picked a random hair salon. I went in, had a chat with the receptionist, and received my quote... The cost was 52 pounds! I automatically convert the price into CDN (yeah, that's a habit!) and it came up to 85$ !! I was like "WHAAAAT?! JUST FOR A HAIRCUT?!? My cousin can cut it for me for free!!" (in my head, obviously!! But it probably showed in my facial expression hahahaha...) Then, the girl looked at me and asked me where I am from, so I answered that I am Canadian. Next thing you know, I got a discount hahahaha... down to 45 pounds! I found it still expensive, but I saw the reflection in the mirror of myself AND my desperate hair... I just took the deal!
